Standard Courses

Gedanken offers three standard RTE-A courses namely, beginning, intermediate, and advance RTE-A. Contact Gedanken for our schedule of classes.

Beginning RTE-A covers such areas as installing and configuring an RTE-A system, the CI user interface, and basic RTE programming. It is aimed at an audience of programmers and system administrators who are working on year-2000 issues and may have little or no knowledge of the RTE-A operating system.

Intermediate RTE-A covers more advanced topics such as multi-user and networked system administration, as well as programming tools and techniques for the more advanced RTE programmer.

Advanced RTE-A covers topics more suited to the experienced RTE system administrator and programmer. Topics include system security, heterogeneous networks, assembly language programming, and the internals of the RTE-A operating system.
